Robin van Persie Is Like Midas: Everything He Touches Turns Into GOALS
Three passes and three goals from the Dutch maestro guided Arsenal to a 3-1 victory over Hull City.
Not the best performance from the Gunners who at times looked very ordinary, especially in defence. But a great few minutes of play ensured Arsenal secured a vital win.
Three players I wish to discuss who I feel were standouts are Samir Nasri, Nicklas Bendtner and Robin van Persie.

Samir Nasri
Outstanding from the Frenchmen who continued his good form from the Bolton encounter. Some felt Nasri should have started in the middle but he started out on the left. Every time Nasri recieved the ball he looked dangerous.
He showed his usual superb balance and control and constantly attacked the Hull goal line. He capped off a superb game with a sensational goal, made possible by the one and only Robin van Perise.
He received the ball on the edge of the box at an almost impossible angle. He took the ball a tad closer and slid it past Boaz Myhill into the side netting. A great goal to cap off a great night.
It's unclear whether Nasri will play in the middle or stay out wide but wherever the £12 million signing from Marseille starts, he will be dangerous.
Nicklas Bendtner
If any one has slagged off Bendtner more than me than they must really dislike the lanky Dane. Bendtner came into the match with two goals in two games and his confidence was slowly rising.
He came on with the match evenly balance but did not do anything magical until Arsenal were back in the lead.
Again it was van Persie who also assisted him for his goal against Bolton. Van Persie found space inside the box and played a superb ball across the line to Bendtner, who slotted the ball magnificently into the corner of the net.
Bendtner then received a magnificent cross from Gael Clichy and Bendtner came up with a excellent header than annoyingly nipped the inside of the post and was then cleared away.
Bendtner has seemed to overcome his recent bad form and now looks in good touch. Emmanuel Adebayor, who did score the opening goal but looks low on confidence, might be worried. With Bendtner's increasing good form, the Dane could jump Adebayor for a starting place.
Robin van Persie
What a game by the in-form Dutchman. He was instrumental in all three goals and barely put a foot wrong. Now Arsenal fans pray van Persie stays fit.
The Dutchman has managed to stay fit and find form. He has collected the last two Arsenal player of the month awards and is joint top scorer with Adebayor. His recent form has attracted big attention from the likes of Barcelona, Inter, and Juventus. All are very keen to have the Dutch striker on their squad so it is vital that they keep him at the Emirates.
Van Persie's recent form also means he should be given the captain's armband in Cesc Fabregas absence. It is currently held by defender Kolo Toure.
A good win for Arsenal and some positive signs.
