B/R Tennis Bags Opportunity To Cover OZ for CBS-FOX Sports

Rohini IyerJan 17, 2009

As most of us know, these days we have a space for our articles at the CBS-Fox Tennis Homepage and some of our writers' articles are quite regularly published there. But come yesterday, there was another surprise waiting for four of our writers.

Yes...four of our top Tennis writers got an opportunity to cover or write a preview about some of the matches in the day as well as in the night session for all 14 days, and all these articles will feature in their Tennis Homepage.

Now, to avoid any controversy...I may strictly add that the writers chosen were not done so on the basis of favoritism but because of their rankings.

Our community has just over 267 members and thus this is an honour indeed. Apart from the preview, there is going to be a curtain raiser [courtesy Long John Silver] and a wrap up [courtesy Rob York] about the first Slam of the year.

Another important point is that even though these articles will be published in the site and all those who want to comment can do so, please do not mind if you don't get a response to all your comments.

This again is absolutely in adherence to the CBS network's condition that none of the Oz Open articles' comments should be responded, and though we are sorry for the inconvenience, we hope that you understand our position and also thank you for your unwavering comments.

Now, for the writers who have had this opportunity:

1. Long John Silver

2. J.A.Allen

3. Rohini Iyer

4. Rob York

So each of our valued readers and fans, please keep a look out for our articles, both in B/R as well as the CBS-FOX site. The site is linked below:
