Viral Video of the Day: Defensor Sporting Player Rips off Busquets, Drogba
The Sergio Busquets Honorary School of Football Acting has a new member.
Say hello to Braian Aleman. Señor Aleman plays for Defensor Sporting, a very awesomely named Uruguayan club.
But Aleman pulled a very un-awesome two-stage stunt Wednesday during Defensor's Copa Libertadores match against CD Guadalajara, otherwise known as Chivas.

First, Aleman threw back his head and arms after supposedly being hit with an elbow. The video suggests he wasn't hit at all.
Second, as Aleman writhed in "pain" on the pitch, he peeked up to see if the referee was buying any of it.
From Dirty Tackle:
"And just the even out the yin and yang of false victims and hidden attacks, Aleman's teammate, Ramon Arias, tried to hide an actual elbow to an opponent's face by pretending to wipe his nose in the most spastic was possible. This too went unpunished. Defensor won 1-0.
"
That's a shame, and not just because my Sunday league team is named for Chivas. This kind of simulation is becoming too widespread in football, and it needs to stop.
You'll remember the progenitor, of course. Behold the godfather himself, Sergio Busquets. His acting job was so believable that it earned an opponent a straight red card.
Then, a few weeks ago, Didier Drogba took his turn. It didn't work, and Salvatore Aronica escaped a booking.
What's next? Fake blood, entrance music and buxom valets?
