WrestleMania 28: One Thing That Could Make Opening Matches Cooler

Just one more thing—everybody always has just one more thing to add; so I may as well throw my two cents in on the WrestleMania 28 card.

Many of the matches are already cool, but I've got one more thing that will make the three opening matches cooler.

I know none of this will happen at this late stage, but isn't that when people generally offer their two cents—when it's too late to change the result?

You know it.

Different Spin on a Handicap Match

We all know that Beth Phoenix is the queen of the division. Putting her in the tag match with Maria Menounos, Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres is a joke. One thing that would make this match much cooler would be to make it a three-on-one.

Who doesn't like those numbers?

Seriously, it would be great to see Phoenix absolutely stamp her dominance over the division by annihilating three of the best competitors—all at once.

When someone is clearly the best, the best way to showcase it is to accentuate it. This would be a memorable way to set Beth up for a true challenge down the road.

Team Teddy and Team Johnny Need a Ladder to Reach Success

I don't like much about the Team Teddy vs Team Johnny match. I think Brodus Clay and Alberto Del Rio should have been involved, and generally the whole thing is pointless.

Who cares who the RAW and SmackDown GM will be? Neither of them is leaving WWE TV. I guess one of them could comeback in a different capacity, but it seems like a glorified space filler. Here is the fix for this mess:

Make it a Ladder Match.

There are a few exciting performers involved like Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder, so it could have some potential "wow" moments. Not to mention, Khali could throw one of his teammates in the air to snatch down the prize or thwart an opponent's attempt.

Aside from that, this match could be a dark match in my opinion. A ladder wouldn't make the match matter more, but it would at least make it more exciting.

Take Kane and Orton to the Extreme

If Kane is really struggling between the human and the monster, tempt him with ability to do anything and go anywhere in a match.

Make it an Extreme Rules Match.

The two can battle back and forth inside and outside of the ring; then in some pivotal moment of the match, Kane can either decide to attempt some gruesome damage to Orton, or not. This will present the perfect opportunity to choose man or monster.
