NFL: Darrelle Revis Provides Insight into Jets' Locker Room After Tebow Trade
Darrelle Revis finally shed some light on how the New York Jets' locker room is reacting to the Tim Tebow trade along with the ongoing turmoil that derailed the 2011-12 season.
According to Jane McManus, the star cornerback revealed this during a simple word-association portion of a SportsCenter interview on ESPN.
Revis was given the phrase “locker room” and responded, after a beat, with “Disarray right now.”

That was all he needed to say to confirm what everyone was thinking.
Darrelle spent some time talking about exactly what happened towards the end of last year when the Jets imploded and lost three straight games to miss the postseason. He then elaborated on the latest controversy that has stricken the organization—the Tebow deal.
Revis was careful not to say anything too controversial and praised both Mark Sanchez and Tebow.
"“I think (Tebow will) have a big impact on (Sanchez) in terms of just trying to maybe push him a little bit more,” Revis said. “Not to say that Mark needs to get pushed, but in a way that you know, Tebow is a winning quarterback. Mark is a winning quarterback too, you got to understand that Mark took us to two AFC championship games."
"
Regardless, the rift that grew between Mark Sanchez, Santonio Holmes and other members of the organization does not seemed to be fully repaired and the addition of Tebow adds another act to the drama.
What will happen remains to be seen, but what we do know now is that this is not a unified group of men and that is never a good way to start the offseason.
Coach Rex Ryan has his work cut out for him going forward and must somehow figure out how to unite his roster before the season starts.
