FC Barcelona Transfer: Why Gareth Bale Will Not Go to La Blaugrana

Chris Coleman, who is manager of the Welsh National Football Team, said that Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspur and Wales) could go to FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. Coleman made the statements in an interview with Goal online magazine.

Coleman praised Bale as en efficient left-side attacker who can go from defense to offense in seconds during a match. The latest chapter of Bale in La Blaugrana is like the rumor reported in The Mirror with a h/t to The Mail last February.

In that article, it was rumored that La Blaugrana was going to trade Cristian Tello, Jonathan dos Santos, and Isaac Cuenca to Arsenal or Chelsea. In return, Barca was going to sign Bale to their club.

The flaw in the rumor is that there will be no such transfer of Bale, Tello, Cuenca and Dos Santos. Coleman himself admits that Messi is from "another world" when it comes to football.

Bale is a player who is better suited for the Premier League instead of the world of FC Barcelona. Bale cannot realize his potential in a club with stars and talent like Iniesta, Messi, Fabregas, Sanchez and Tello.

Tello is going to remain in Barca after his impressive goals against Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League. Cuenca and Dos Santos will remain with La Blaugrana as well.
