Donald Driver Dancing with the Stars: Packers WR a Legit Threat To Win DWTS
Donald Driver is in line to achieve the greatest victory of his career.
His dancing career, anyway. It's hard to top the Super Bowl victory he achieved in his day job as a wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers.
Driver is looking good two weeks into this season of Dancing with the Stars, as he pleased the crowd with his rendition of the Cha Cha in the first week of the show and earned top marks for his rendition of the Quick Step on Monday night.

That wasn't all Driver earned on Monday night. He also earned an apology from one of the judges, who plotted to destroy Driver by under-scoring him in the first week of the show.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, judge Len Goodman admitted to Driver that he "undermarked" him last week, and he likened his scoring flub to a football ref who might flub a call.
"Those referees have videos to watch back and they still get it wrong. We have a few seconds to make a decision, and sometimes you get it wrong," Goodman said.
"Like a true sportsman, you came back and proved us wrong," said judge Bruno Tonioli after watching Driver own the Quick Step this Monday night.
Translation: Our bad.
Alright, now Driver's cooking with gas. He's shown in the season's first two weeks that this whole dancing this isn't so tough, and now he's got the refs giving him high scores and apologizing for giving him low scores. He's got them in his pocket. For now, anyway.
Driver haters (are there any of you out there?) will argue that things can only go downhill from here, but that's a bunch of nonsense. Driver can clearly handle dancing and he was already plenty popular enough. And remember, popularity counts for a lot in this game.
Anybody who wasn't on Driver's side before may be on his side now that the judges have deemed him to be legit. Those who remain unaffiliated will surely be won over very soon by Driver's 1,000-watt smile and impressive biceps.
At the absolute very least, Driver should live beyond this week. Going forward, all he has to do is keep dancing well and continue to be himself. If he does that, he'll continue to earn the approval of the judges while becoming more and more popular with the show's considerable fanbase.
If Hines Ward can win this thing, so can Driver.
And Driver doesn't have to worry about winning people over who hate him for his dirty tactics on the gridiron.
