Predicting UFC 93 from B/R Writers' Points of View

I would like to begin by apologizing for this article, as I am under significant time restraints due to my schedule.

I was randomly struck with an idea to have an ongoing series of articles throughout 2009 in which writers from Bleacher Report would select the winners of the fights at the main UFC events. For the record, I am defining "main UFC events" as any UFC event that has a number after UFC (i.e. UFC 93).

I have selected an eclectic mix of bleacher report MMA writers and have asked them to submit their selections for the winners of each fight on the card and also supply a few sentences on how they see the outcome.

For each event, I will attempt to provide a pre-fight article displaying the writers and their picks and the consensus on the fight will be won. Following the fights, I will write a post-fight article simply updating the writers' correct pick percentages and perhaps a slight recap.

On to the inaugural 2009 B/R Writers' Picks

This weeks writers include: Jessy Morris, Mike Leanza, Brian Oswald, Jaime Moreno, Flyin' Hawaiian (FH), and Andrew Alton.

Nate Mohr vs. Denis Siver

John Hathaway vs. Tom Egan
