BJ Penn vs. Georges St. Pierre More Than Just Entertainment

Jason CottierJan 16, 2009

Anyone who is a regular on the Bleacher Report has surely noticed the obvious "bad blood" between two of the members.  A man known as the Flyin' Hawaiian, and his arch nemesis GGU.  These two have been trolling one another for a while now.

I was personally part of the boiling point that eventually happened between these two writers.  There were some comments made on a previous article of mine that I was reading and seeing that they were on my article I decided to stick my nose in the middle of it.

This comment from Flyin' Hawaiian got the rivalry spilling over to my article:

GG you silly little inbred. You really need to make up your mind.

Quotes from GG the inbred:

"Even Fedor has lost a fight."

"GSP is a wuss compared to Urijah. He would rather dance around for the first couple minutes of the fight."

Those are all comments you left on one of my articles.

Can Fedor lose, or has he already lost? Can GSP lose, or is he a wuss?

I know it's hard for you to think being inbred and everything, but at least be consistent. Now go back to your cage.

They went back and forth for a while, and Flyin' convinced GG to write his own article.

Of course the rivalry spilled over to that page, where I somewhat mediated, somewhat stirred it up a little to get everything out in the open.

Eventually the two ended up seeing each other's point and what was at one point a possible bet to select a winner and call it done has now seemed to be a harmless competition between the two.

Now that these two have settled their rivalry they can both look back and laugh at what they have written about one another.  So what seemed to be two guys hating each other has turned out to have a Disney type of ending with apologies and the whole nine yards.  They both even knew I was writing the article about them and at one point the article was questioned, because they said that there would be nothing to write about.

Well I personally think it is something to write about two fans of MMA setting aside their rivalry and understanding that their opinions would differ, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I am putting this article under the humor section...if you read what they have written you will understand why.
