Messi and Ronaldo Watch: Messi Sets New Record, Ronaldo Hits a Century
Lionel Messi broke a record. Cristiano Ronaldo broke the century mark.
Yeah, it was a pretty good week for the two most unstoppable players on the planet.
Messi, as you surely know by now, became Barcelona's all-time leading scorer in the middle of scoring yet another hat-trick for Barcelona midweek.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, scored his 99th, 100th and 101st goals for Real Madrid. At this pace, he'll be closing in on some club records of his own pretty soon.

Record-Breaking Messi
1 of 5Lionel Messi became Barcelona's all-time leading scorer this week.
The 24-year-old Argentine broke a record that had stood for more than half a century with a 67th-minute goal in Barcelona's 5-2 victory over Granada.
Fittingly, Messi finished the match with a hat trick, his eighth for Barcelona this season alone.

Another Goal Against Mallorca
2 of 5Messi scored again Saturday as Barcelona defeated Mallorca 2-0 away in La Liga action. But some would say Alexis Sanchez should have received credit for the goal.

The Argentine forward got credit for his side's first goal in the 25th minute before Gerard Piqué sealed the points with a strike in the 79th.
The win was Barca's seventh straight in the league. They're now six points behind league-leading Real Madrid.
Ronaldo, Ozil Combine for a Beauty
3 of 5Real Madrid dropped points midweek against relegation-threatened Villarreal.
Ronaldo put Real ahead with a slick strike in the second half after playing a one-two with Mesut Ozil just outside the box.
It was the Portuguese superstar's 99th goal for Real Madrid.
Villarreal equalized late in the second half and held on for a 1-1 draw.
Ronaldo Hits 100
4 of 5Ronaldo passed the century mark against Real Sociedad on Saturday as Real Madrid won 5-1 at the Bernabeu.
The first—Ronaldo's 100th for Real Madrid—came in the 33rd minute as Ronaldo slipped behind the defense and beat the keeper with an accurate shot to the far post. That goal appears in the video at left.
