Tim Tebow Press Conference: Watch New Jet's Statement, Mark Sanchez and More

Tim Tebow spoke into a microphone on Monday afternoon, and for a few moments, there wasn't a bigger sports story in the world. 

We still have no idea how this man does it. The quarterback that throws awkwardly can still chuck amazing touchdowns. The QB that completes less than half his throws delivered the Denver Broncos a playoff win. 

Tebow did it once again when he delivered a rock star press conference while he himself is a backup quarterback, and we all bought in.

If you are trying to find a reason as to why Tebow is so well-liked, it very well could be his passion for life. That was quite evident in this press conference. 

CNBC's Darren Rovell reported via Twitter that Tebow was so excited, he bordered on giddy:

There was a myriad of questions that took place towards the end of the conference. One of the more intriguing things not caught on the video is whether all this hype is fair to Mark Sanchez:

"I think Mark is very secure...I don't think he is going to let outsiders affect how he plays...We will be stronger together than we would be apart."

He later continued with the most interesting quote of the day:

"Me and Mark (Sanchez) have a great relationship."

There is no way of knowing how this decision will transform the New York Jets or whether it will be a huge success or terrible disaster. 

It's clear that this trade that brought Tebow to New York will, in fact, matter. Do not think for one second that Tebow will ever slink back to the backup role normally occupied by no-names and B-list arms. 

Tebow is a rock star, and you simply don't place these personalities in a corner. The Jets have a brand new toy they want to flaunt in front of the world. Monday was their first opportunity to do so, but it will not be the last.
