Tim Tebow Speaks, People Broadcast It, I Tell You What I Think.
Tim Tebow met with the New York and greater NFL media a little after noon EST earlier today. Say what you want about his ability (or lack thereof) on the football field, the young man knows his way around a podium.
Courteous and smiling throughout the entire affair, Tebow began by thanking the Broncos organization and did not bring up his Christian faith until 20 minutes into the proceedings, and then only when asked. It was a marked difference (one that I suspect was coached and/or advised) from the way he has begun many other public appearances by leading with a declaration of faith.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Try as they might, the New York media could not crack Tebow's polished veneer. Whether trying to explain how he did, indeed, have a choice of where the Broncos were going to trade him (to which he gave a meandering and ultimately confusing answer) to a borderline offensive question about why he has not used his platform to broadcast his views on hot-button topics the way politicians do on the campaign trail, Tebow deftly avoided giving the media anything too revealing or, indeed, informative.
Instead, questions were answered with classic "I'm just happy to be a Jet" type responses. From "I have a great relationship with Mark (Sanchez)" to "My bosses made me do it." when asked about having to do the press conference at all, Tebow spoke in the broadest generalizations and cliches possible—which, of course, is what we expected.
Yes, it was a press conference that would have made Crash Davis proud.
