The Tennessean's Jim Wyatt reported that on Tuesday, Chris Johnson's 2012 salary of $8 million was officially guaranteed by the club.
Recovering from the Peyton disappointment, the Titans quickly recovered to sign Kamerion Wimbley to a $35 million contract, with $13.5 million guaranteed. Wimbley was an outside linebacker with the Raiders and looks to play DE for the Titans in 2012 (source: Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean).
In a minor signing, Paul Kuharsky of the AFC South blog on ESPN reports that Colts Donnie Avery signed with the Colts. Avery caught three passes last year for 45 yards and a touchdown.
