WWE: 6 Dream Opponents John Cena Has Yet to Face
It's hard to see John Cena competing against any other opponents than the ones in the WWE. The mere thought of Cena taking his talents somewhere is nuts. But at some point, it could happen.
And with that thought, other wrestlers could (hopefully) will make their way to the WWE.
Being a huge superstar, of course a battle with John Cena is a way to make a name for themselves.
Here are some wrestlers who, if they locked elbows with Cena, would make for an epic battle.
Bully Ray
1 of 6The best heel in the business today faces the best face in the business today.
Since Bully Ray is now the one-man machine that beats the hell out of opponents in and out of the ring, it will interesting to see how he handles a man who can stand toe to toe with him and talk the same game.
Bully Ray is a great opponent for Cena in any situation.
Lord Tensai
2 of 6Since it looks like this will happen after WrestleMania 28, why not put it on the list?
The former Prince Albert has now become a lord in the world of professional wrestling and looks to be bigger and stronger than ever before. And more tatted as well.
Could this be Cena's new "Umaga" feud? It sure looks that way.
AJ Styles
3 of 6You have to pick Styles in any kind of match in a WWE event.
Styles vs. Cena is like Sting vs. Shawn Michaels. The best of the best going at it.
Styles is smaller and more agile. Cena is raw power and robotic.
Nice match of conflicting styles.
James Storm
4 of 6The Cowboy comes to the WWE.
He talks a great game, has a decent look and can wrestle. He too is a brawler and likes to keep his opponents grounded.
I personally think he is better than Cena and Bobby Roode.
Sting
5 of 6Oh, this needs to happen.
While we talk so much of Sting vs. Undertaker, can you imagine if these two ever met? Two giants in the world of wrestling meeting face to face to see who is the bigger icon.
The fans would scream for this. And creative would have a gold mine.
WrestleMania 30?
Bobby Roode
6 of 6The leader of the "Selfish Generation" comes to WWE to meet Cena.
This isn't Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan, but it is real close.
Both men will never live up to the drama and hysteria created by their predecessors, but the in-ring action will be better.
Hogan never really "wrestled" and these two can do that and brawl if need be.
It would be a forbidden-fruit type of match.
