Tim Tebow: Jets' Backup Quarterback Already Has Billboard in New York

Let the games begin.

Tim Tebow, in case you weren't alive for a week, was traded to the New York Jets for draft picks on Thursday. 

The move created a buzz worldwide because anything involving Tebow brings instant buzz. Many disagreed with the move to New York, but it now looks like the city is attempting to embrace Tebow with open arms.

Jockey's billboard saying "We support Tebow and New York" was the first billboard placed in New York about Tebow, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

What else would you expect?

Tebow is one of the most polarizing figures in sports history for one reason or another. He brings instant attention. Who would have cared what the Denver Broncos did last season if Kyle Orton was the starter for all 16 games?

Nobody but Broncos fans, and rightfully so. 

Tebow brings opinions; he brings arguments. Some people love him and some people can't stand the attention he receives for doing nothing at the professional level.

So, does this surprise me?

Absolutely not.

Jockey made the brilliant move to create this ad and have it placed as soon as possible. Now they are on center stage with this Tebow fiasco. 

It's marketing at its best.
