WWE WrestleMania 28: Which Match Should Close the Show?

The Doctor Chris MuellerJun 6, 2018

WWE has been hyping WrestleMania 28 since the day after WrestleMania 27, making it the longest marketing campaign in WWE history.

By having the match between John Cena and The Rock set one year in advance, WWE put a lot on the line by banking that Cena would not get hurt in that time frame.

With this being The Rock's second match back since returning at Survivor Series, it is being looked at as a once-in-a-lifetime matchup.

The match between Cena and Rocky is one of the four main events of the night, but should it be the match that closes the show?

Many people would argue that because it is getting top billing that it should be the closer, but does it make sense to bill a non-title match over the two top titles in the company?

Daniel Bryan is defending the World Title against the man who won the Royal Rumble, Sheamus. Shouldn't the fact that Sheamus won the Rumble make him the guy who closes the show?

CM Punk is defending the WWE title—which is arguably the top title, even above the World Title—against Chris Jericho. Shouldn't the company's top champion be the guy who closes the show?

Undertaker and Triple H are facing off inside a Cell to see if Trips can finally end the streak of 19-0 Taker has at WrestleMania. Shouldn't Undertaker, with his streak and career possibly coming to an end, be the guy who closes the show?

There are arguments for every one of the four biggest matches of the night to be the final match of the night, but when it comes down to it, The Rock and John Cena's match is the biggest thing on the card.

Which match do you think should close WrestleMania 28?
