Tim Tebow Will Have His Way and Become Jets' Starter over Mark Sanchez
Mark Sanchez, now would be the time to prepare for your eventual fall. Tim Tebow would very much like to become the starter for the New York Jets, and the man always gets what he wants.
The New York Daily News reports Tim Tebow wants to be that starter for the Jets. The only hiccup is that the Jets already have one, a fact that they probably should have checked before trading for a backup with a starter's fanbase. We will get back to this.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"The real reason Tebow loves New York is because he feels he can beat out Mark Sanchez and become the Jets’ starting quarterback.
"
I know how most of you are feeling at this moment, because I had the initial gut reaction. Tebow has no business as the starting quarterback of the New York Jets, a hapless Broncos team that needs saving sure, but not a perennial contender.
The Jets need to move forward in the evolution at the position, not backwards.
In the Beginning...
Tebow fans will point to the seven wins under his belt as a major contributor to the Broncos offense and the one miracle playoff win.
Fans of things like quarterbacks actually completing passes will notice that Tebow did so less than half the time last season. No matter, he was still hyped as much as Peyton Manning ever was.
Now he descends on New York with the power of the Beatles, LeBron James and those sandwiches Elvis Presley used to love. He is no mere mortal, and will soon cloud the Jets' roster like no player has before.
You see, it's more about the mystics than the metrics when it comes to Tebow.
You can't rely on those sad statistics because the man, "just wins." We have come to describe his efforts and successes with the shift of the head and the shrug of the shoulders. We have no freaking clue how he does it.
The David Blaine of football may once again rule the gridiron, but he needs Mark Sanchez to step aside.
Mark Sanchez
Um, that should be easy. It's not like the Sanchize is exactly winning Super Bowls, and his claim as a perennial playoff passer went out the door a few months ago.
No, Sanchez will open the door for another quarterback, because this is what he is really good at doing.
Last year there were more than a couple times that Jets fans would have had to begin a slow but growing Tebow chant.
Maybe the three game losing streak from late September to October would have done it. He really threw an awful game against Baltimore in that one.
If not, we would have the midseason losses to the Patriots and Broncos to point to. The latter was a game in which he was out Tebow'd by Tebow.
Tim Tebow
Actually, forget Sanchez, because this has nothing to do with him. We know he is going to again throw up some awful games, but he will have some brilliant ones as well.
None of it matters, not really.
Tim Tebow is a backup quarterback with superstar appeal. The fans will soon be won over by the hope that he is all that his winning smiles promise that he is.
The chants will begin as early as Week 2, no matter how great Sanchez is playing. We love a good story and want to know the unknown. We know full well what Sanchez gives us under center in New York.
But Tebow?
Now I am interested.
Tebow will have his day as Jets starter, and it really isn't even a debate. We all cheer for him to play, some more quietly than others.
The Jets now have Tim Tebow on their roster, and that will mean everything next year.
