Arsenal will take on Aston Villa this Saturday in a clash of teams headed in completely opposite directions.

With Alex McLeish at the helm, Villa have slipped to 15th in the Premier League table and have recorded only one win in their last six league games.

Arsenal, on the other hand, are in dreamland at the moment. The Gunners have been on quite an incredible run of form for the last few weeks, beating the likes of Tottenham, Liverpool, Newcastle and Everton to leapfrog Spurs and move into third place in the league.

McLeish's sides always give Arsenal a hard time with their generally negative and defensive style of play, but the Gunners should have plenty of impetus from the raucous fans at the Emirates Stadium to get forward and press for a goal.

For the home side, this match is about keeping up the momentum they have worked so hard to build up. Villa, on the other hand, will try to reverse their recent slide.
