Podcast of the Week: Audible Audibles Talking Nebraska, Big Ten & Recruiting
Last week, we took a peek into LSU spring ball and spotlighted the Crystal Ball Run Podcast. This week, we're keeping your Friday informed and entertained with another podcast. Moving from the south to the Midwest, from the SEC to the Big Ten, we're shining the light on this show from Husker Locker.
Two of my favorite guys got together for this episode of Husker Locker's "Audible Audibles" podcast; host Brandon Cavanaugh and guest Tom Fornelli.
Cavanaugh is a Nebraska guy who loves the nuts and bolts of the game and follows the recruiting aspect pretty closesly as well.
Fornelli, from CBS Sports' Eye on College Football, is just one of my favorite college football guys.
Whether it is arguing with Tom about Illinois in-state football talent versus North Carolina in-state football talent, or discussing anything Notre Dame, the man is a great follow.
This podcast is pretty solid on the Nebraska chatter, and that's a good thing because after a season where the Huskers didn't accomplish everything they hoped to, Cavanaugh takes a bit of an introspective approach to things.
He and Fornelli discuss what two historic programs, Notre Dame and Nebraska, have in common, as well as questioning the "year older, year better" theory with respect to Nebraska being better prepared for Big Ten opponents in 2012.
It is a great listen people, so click here to make your morning go by a little bit faster with some college football talk.
Fornelli and Cavanaugh even get into the great uniform debate that people seem to love so much. Without giving too much away, I really, really agree with Tom Fornelli's stance on the uniforms with regards to recruiting.
