Villareal vs Real Madrid: Los Blancos Shouldn't Fear Losing La Liga Title
Real Madrid's recent struggles in La Liga aren't something for fans to be concerned about, because Los Blancos still have a healthy six-point lead atop the league table and have arguably the most talented squad in Spanish football.
Los Blancos' 1-1 draw to Villareal, a club barely above the relegation zone, was a bad result for sure, but there wasn't anything to be gravely concerned about.
Madrid were down to nine men in the 85th minute when the score was level at 1-1, and they needed a goal to take all three points.

Controversy in Atletí-Arsenal 😬
To be fair, it's hard for any team to score when they're down to nine men with only a few minutes remaining in the match.
The Madrid defense, which has been a real weakness over the past few years, is playing quite well this season.
Sergio Ramos' smooth transition to center back from right back is just one example of how manager Jose Mourinho has improved the defensive quality of the squad. Madrid has allowed just 25 goals this year, the second-best mark in the league.
While Barcelona is now just six points away from Madrid in the table, the Catalan club have struggled in the league this season and have not been as dominating as they have been in recent seasons.
A loss to Osasuna and draws to Valencia and Villareal were not good results for Barcelona since the start of the new year, and there is no guarantee that the defending champions will be perfect the rest of the season.
All the pressure, for now, remains on Barcelona to win every remaining league game, including their April 22 showdown with Madrid at the Nou Camp.
