New York Knicks: Jeremy Lin's Double-Double Helps Keep Knicks Hot

Mike MoraitisJun 7, 2018

We wondered what the best possible scenario would be for Jeremy Lin and the New York Knicks if the team ever got everyone healthy and on the same page. Tuesday night was a great example of that in New York's 106-87 win over the Toronto Raptors.

Lin led the way with 18 points and 10 assists, running the Knicks offense to perfection while keeping his turnovers down to three for the game.

New York's box score looks quite impressive when you notice the even distribution of points between their key players:

  • Carmelo Anthony: 17

The game was relatively close for the majority of the evening, but the Knicks pulled away to an insurmountable lead in the fourth quarter, as their offense just seemed to click at the right time.

As close as it was, New York kept control for almost every minute of the game.

The Knicks have now won four in a row and are looking like a different team on the defensive side of the ball. This new motivation has created a more potent offense as a whole, and will make for a much more difficult opponent with so much offensive talent.

That's not to mention, the Knicks' unselfish approach is allowing their offense to flourish by utilizing every option on the floor at all times. Lin has been a major catalyst and a key to that success.
