Robert Griffin III Rookie Day to Air Wednesday on ESPNU, ESPN3 and NFL Network

That could be what an invitation to this event might look like.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Robert Griffin, III show with special guest wide receiver, Kendall Wright. Staring the Heisman Trophy winning quarterback of your Baylor Bears and the likely second overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

We have an update and that is both ESPN3 and ESPNU will begin their coverage at NOON (ET).

The network will be broadcasting all the action of Griffin, III, also known as RG3’s, coming out party. The broadcast team in Waco will be Sal Paolantonio, Ron Jaworski and Todd McShay on hand to provide plenty of analysis

Also, the NFL Network will be live from The Baylor Pro Day starting at noon ET with Mike Mayock on-location.

There will be plenty of media at Baylor, at last count over 100 credentials have been requested and as many as 75 NFL coaches, general managers and scouts could show up.

There will be a significant amount of Washington Redskins' personnel on hand, as well. The team made a blockbuster trade with the St. Louis Rams to obtain the second pick in this year’s NFL Draft with the hope of securing the services of Griffin III to serve as their quarterback for  the next decade.

We'll see the man they call RG3 throw the ball to a number of present and former receivers on a list that has yet to be released. Some of the players that we do know will be on hand in Waco will be Baylor running backs Terrance Ganaway and Isaac Williams.

RG3 will be throwing the ball to Wright, and two guys looking for an NFL shot in former stars Ernest Smith and Krys Buerck.

But no doubt Redskins' fans will be thinking about the possibility that each pass RG3 throws will land in the hands of a player wearing a burgundy jersey. But, until the NFL Draft on April 27, RG3 fans in Washington will have to wait and hope that he's on the board when the Redskins make their selection.

My guess is he will be making reservations for  Washington sometime April 28 for a press conference.
