WrestleMania 28 Results: The Undertaker Keeps Amazing Streak Alive vs. Triple H

Tim DanielsJun 7, 2018

For the second straight year and third time overall, The Undertaker has defeated Triple H at WrestleMania. Sunday night's victory, which came in a grueling Hell in a Cell match, pushes Undertaker's undefeated run to 20-0 at the year's marquee wrestling event.

With Shawn Michaels serving as the guest referee, the match was a back-and-forth battle that featured several false finishes and had everyone in the crowd on the edge of their seats. Just like last year's no-holds barred match, there were a couple moments when it seemed like the streak was over.

Instead, Undertaker showed the heart of a champion once again. You have to give credit to both men for putting on such an awe-inspiring show despite being well past their respective primes. They don't move like they once did, but both men can still hold their own in the ring.

The streak started all the way back at WrestleMania VII, when Undertaker defeated Jimmy Snuka, I wonder what he would have said back then if you told him that one day he would have 20 victories under his belt without a loss on the biggest stage of them all.

In total, 17 wrestlers have felt the wrath of Undertaker at WrestleMania, including legends like Ric Flair, Jake Roberts and Edge.

He once defeated the Big Show and A-Train in a handicap match. The Hell in a Cell triumph was his second of the streak, previously beating Mark Henry. And three of the battles resulted in him winning a title belt.

Even though fans have come to expect Undertaker's streak to stay alive, it's still one of the most anticipated moments of the year. The slight possibility that it may finally end keeps the fans coming back each and every time.

Now that the streak lives on, there's only one question to ask: Who's next?
