Pro Wrestling News: Rob Van Dam Returning to TNA Soon

Bleacher ReportMar 18, 2012

The last few months, wrestling fans have not seen a whole lot of Rob Van Dam on TNA programming, but that could change very soon.

According to PWInsider.com (click link at your own risk, may contain malware), RVD is expected to return to TNA TV very soon.

There is some speculation amongst the Internet wrestling community that he may return to the WWE, but he has commented in the past that the reason why he left was because of their rigorous road schedule.  So it remains to be seen if RVD would ever go back to the WWE.

But RVD also has commented on his frustrations in terms of how he was being booked in TNA, so if the company continues to book RVD improperly, then he may jump ship to the WWE if they make him the right kind of offer.

RVD's last match on TNA was his pay-per-view match at Genesis. He lost to Gunner and was "stretchered" to the back after taking a DDT on the concrete floor from Gunner after the match.

In 2011, he was involved in some programs in TNA with Christopher Daniels and Jerry Lynn.  He was briefly involved in the TNA World Television Title picture as well.

It has been quite some time since RVD has been involved in a program for the TNA World Title, but that could change in 2012 upon his return to the company.
