Matt Flynn Reportedly Signs 3-Year Deal With Seahawks

Another part of the QB carrousel has been figured out.

Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network has reported that the Seattle Seahawks have signed free agent Matt Flynn to a three-year contract:

This is a very favorable deal for the Seahawks, as he will essentially be getting the same amount of money as Kevin Kolb according to La Canfora:

The signing means a couple of things:

The Seahawks Gave a Player with 132 Career Pass Attempts $10 Million Guaranteed

They are putting a lot of faith in his one start. Sure, he threw for 480 yards and six TDs against the Detroit Lions in a meaningless game, but what will happen now that he’s the man?

The potential is there, but there is now a lot of pressure on a guy with two career NFL starts.
