Peyton Manning Rumors: Titans Appear to Be Front Runners over 49ers and Broncos
Well, it looks like Peyton Manning could be making a return to Tennessee, this time as a Titan rather than as a Volunteer.
At least that's what Clay Travis is reporting on Twitter.
"Source close to Manning says Titans have weathered 49er storm and to expect presser by Tuesday at latest.

"Titans have now been Manning leader since Wednesday and source says nothing since has happened to change that.

This seems like the logical decision, at least from where Manning stands. He returns to the state where he played his college ball, he remains in the AFC South and the Titans have shown a ridiculous level of commitment to him.
The San Francisco 49ers may give him the best chance to land in the Super Bowl immediately, but there is also the possibility that he and head coach Jim Harbaugh could have difficulty working together, as both are fiery and feel most comfortable when calling the shots.
They are also in the NFC, and it is thought that Peyton's preference to remain in the AFC.
As for the Denver Broncos, well, they simply don't have the compelling offensive playmakers that the Titans can offer Manning in Chris Johnson and Kenny Britt.
Hit me up on Twitter—I've tweeted from Lehigh's campus before. Seriously.
