NCAA Basketball Scores 2012: Florida Will Bring Norfolk State Back to Reality
Hopefully Norfolk State had a fun time in the wake of their upset win over the Missouri Tigers, because the Florida Gators are here to crash the party and bring the Spartans back to reality.
The No. 15 seed Spartans pulled off a miracle win over the No. 2 Tigers in the second round of the tournament, but their Cinderella run will not stand a chance against the Gators.
Their win over Missouri wasn't a slaughter or anything close to a landslide victory, but nonetheless they took down one of the best teams in the country in what was a close 86-84 victory.

Florida is just a completely different type of team, and they proved that against the Virginia Cavaliers as they dominated with a 71-45 victory.
Their winning margin was even more impressive, considering that the Gators went 4-of-23 from beyond the arc, which proves just how strong this team's defense is.
The Tigers were a strong team this past season, but they were definitely thin in their frontcourt, which made it easy for Norfolk State to make it inside.
The Gators will have to rely on starters Erik Murphy and Patric Young to hold down the lane, as both players stand tall and have the size to slow their opponents—not to mention their star guard Bradley Beal has been lighting things up as of late.
Before coming into the tournament, Beal dropped 20 points on the Kentucky Wildcats in the SEC tournament, as well as grabbing eight boards and having five assists.
He brought that same style of play into their second-round game, as he scored another 14 while having 11 rebounds.
There have been some pretty crazy events thus far, but it is hard to imagine the Spartans finding their way past the Gators with a Sweet 16 berth on the line.
