WWE's 15 Best Heels
One thing is for sure: There is no shortage of over-talented heels in WWE right now.
The company has a vast, eclectic collection of bad guys with their own individual style and appeal to fans.
Coming in all shapes and sizes, these guys are the stars of the show and often upstage and garner more cheers than the supposedly beloved baby-faces.
Generic heels? In WWE? There's no such thing!
With this in mind, let's have a look at the top 15 heels from Raw, Smackdown and NXT.
Lawyers, vegans, rich aristocrats, villainous general managers, crazy divas...they're all on here.
Eve Torres
1 of 15Since shockingly declaring on Raw a few weeks ago that she cared little for love interest Zack Ryder and was merely using him—and his best friend John Cena—to garner fame and further her career, Diva Search winner Eve Torres has become one of company's biggest female heels.
With her stunning good looks, charisma, smooth mic skills and polished in-ring ability (she is one of the few divas who knows what she's doing in the ring), Eve looks set to rule over and dominate WWE women's division.
Just how alluring is the former NBA dancer?
Zack Ryder has been strung along by her, was badly beaten up protecting her, watched agape as she passionately made out with his best friend, and has even been stood up by her on a pre-planned date earlier this week—but he's still completely infatuated!
The conniving diva has him well and truly wrapped around her little finger.

Jack Swagger
2 of 15Even an association with top manager Vickie Guerrero, and winning the United States Championship from Zack Ryder back in January, has done little to reverse his fortunes in WWE (he had a lame, forgettable run with the belt before losing it clean to former jobber Santino Marella on Raw a few weeks ago).
Despite the shoddy and erratic booking, the hugely talented and versatile Swagger remains one of WWE's best heels.
Now if only the company could figure it out too.
John Laurinaitis
3 of 15Since his emergence on WWE television last summer as a slimy corporate heel, real-life Exectutive Vice President of Talent Relations , John Laurainitis has become a highlight of Raw.
As a bumbling, smarmy general manager who insists he just wants to get along with everyone—while secretly plotting to screw all the babyfaces—Laurinaitis is one of the best, most refreshing authority figures to emerge on WWE screens in a long, long time. He's also hilarious. Seriously, check out Punk's “tribute” to him from last year's Slammy's.
Not content to run WWE's flagship show, it also appears John wants to steal control of blue brand Smackdown away from Teddy Long as well: the two feuding GM's will be captaining teams at this year's WrestleMania for control of both shows.
Our money's on the sneaky Laurinaitis to emerge from the show triumphant—and through nefarious means, no doubt.
Maxine
4 of 15As Derrick Bateman's gorgeous, domineering, high-maintenance, on-off girlfriend, NXT diva Maxine has made the internet-only show worth watching.
Certainly with her impeccable mic skills, charisma and in-ring skills (she has shown herself to be a fairly decent wrestler on various episodes of NXT) we reckon the FCW star should be given a permanent spot on either Raw or Smackdown.
David Otunga
5 of 15After a middling run in Nexus, David Otunga looked to be spending the remainder of his WWE run languishing hopelessly in the abyss (well, WWE's tag team division).
Thankfully though, his lawyer gimmick (based on Otunga's real-life legal skills) and heavy association with John Laurinaitis has revived his career and the smarmy, know-it-all heel character has turned into a highlight of Raw.
Vickie Guerrero
6 of 15With her terrific promos skills, good looks and unrivaled ability to garner hugely negative crowd reactions wherever she goes, this cougar remains WWE's most over heel manager by far.
Having upcoming stars Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger to carry out her bidding on episodes of Raw and Smackdown only serves to make her even more powerful and dangerous.
What's next for Vickie on Raw?
Whatever she wants. Hey, we certainly wouldn't want to stand in this woman's way.
Mark Henry
7 of 15His once major push has eroded in recent months due to his frustrations and problems with WWE brass, and reports abound that he intending to leave WWE to pursue outside interests, but Mark Henry remains solid in his role as WWE's resident monster heel.
Hopefully, WWE management and Henry can come to some sort of understanding and the star won't get fed up and head off to like Hollywood to try his hand at an acting career like so many others before him.
Come on, WWE. This guy is too good not to have around.
Daniel Bryan
8 of 15World Heavyweight Champion, strict vegan, grower of a magnificent beard, driver of environmentally friendly cars and loving boyfriend to AJ (who, let's face it, is lucky to get a catch like Bryan): Is there anything Daniel Bryan can't do?
With his strong values and upstanding behavior, Bryan epitomizes what every young man should aim to be.
Oh, sure. You can all say he's the evil bad guy here and root for Sheamus to beat him within an inch of his life at their WrestleMania match next month, but we think you're just jealous of his Prius and PETA award.
Dolph Ziggler
9 of 15One of WWE's finest in-ring talents, Dolph Ziggler has impressed many fans over the past year, and garnered favourable comparisons with Shawn Michaels and "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig (probably inevitable due to Ziggler's bleach-blond hairdo and wacky bumping skills).
While he has yet to enter the upper echelon of WWE's main event scene, he nonetheless remains one of the highlights of Raw and someone capable of having a good match with almost anyone.
Beth Phoenix
10 of 15While she has been woefully under-used and ignored by WWE's booking team over the past year—despite being one of the longest-reigning Divas Champions ever, she only makes sporadic and short appearances on WWE television—Beth Phoenix remains one of the company's most skilled female wrestlers and heels.
It has been sad to see the former Shimmer star's considerable talents wasted on the little-watched Superstars and thrown-out-on-the-fly matches on pay-per-view. So little has been done with her, you have to wonder why WWE have bothered keeping the Divas Championship on her. Unless they've simply forgotten she's even champion, which may also be possible.
Here's hoping her upcoming high-profile tag match at WrestleMania (she teams with Eve Torres to take on Kelly Kelly and NBC's Extra host Maria Menounos) will help revive her floundering title run.
Alberto Del Rio
11 of 15One of WWE's most entertaining heels, Alberto Del Rio is, per reports, due to return from his groin injury any time now, most likely at this year's WM to be on John Laurinaitis' team in the GM match.
Certainly the return of Del Rio, as well as his his charismatic personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez, is good news for WWE's stagnant main event scene that needs some fresh blood.
Chris Jericho
12 of 15Since his long-awaited return to the promotion on January 2, Chris Jericho has kept WWE's audience enthralled as they attempt to guess his true motives and agenda (it took Jericho almost a month to utter a word on WWE programming).
His enigmatic character took an interesting turn this week on Raw, as his feud with WWE Champion CM Punk (the two will face each other at WrestleMania) turned very personal.
After Punk's match with The Miz, Jericho cruelly taunted the champion about his father's alcoholism problem and, to make matters worse, vowed to make Punk become a drunk too.
A devastated and embarrassed Punk could only walk away in silence, stunned and hurt at Jericho's violation of his privacy.
Nasty.
The Bella Twins
13 of 15While Nikki and Brie Bella may not be the best wrestlers in WWE (putting it mildly), their entertaining double act has become a staple of the women's division.
It's hard to imagine WWE without this mischievous, conniving pair constantly trying to cheat by running under the ring and switching with each other.
They're both gorgeous, too. No wonder Alberto Del Rio can't resist them!
Cody Rhodes
14 of 15One of WWE's most promising up and comers, the arrogant, obnoxious Cody Rhodes has all the talent, skill and charisma needed to go far in the company.
Hopefully the IC Champion can take another step to the top of WWE, and defeat the Big Show at their upcoming match at WrestleMania.
The Miz
15 of 15While the trajectory of Mike "The Miz" Mizanin's WWE career is mildly disconcerting to say the least, his mic skills and charisma ensures the former WWE Champion still remains one the company's best heels.
No doubt, with some help from the booking team, he can recover from his career lull and become a staple of the company's future.
