2012 NFL Draft: Michigan's David Molk and Late Round Talents Who Will Shock You
The NFL draft is coming up and everyone is wondering: Who will be this year's late round stars?
After all, everyone knows to draft Andrew Luck first, then Robert Griffin, then the elite tackles and so on, but who should teams pick up in the late rounds?
This year, there are many, many talented players to check out late in the draft, including center David Molk and several other college stars.
David Molk: Michigan Center
1 of 5The Big Ten is known for producing talented, bruising centers. This year, there are two, including Michigan star David Molk.
Molk was the most important part of a 2011 offensive line that helped Denard Robinson transition to a pro-style offense and bring Michigan to a Sugar Bowl victory.
He isn't even slightly flashy, but he is a big, tough, smart football player. Molk can be a team's starting center for years to come, and he will be available in the mid-to-late rounds of the draft.
Marcus Forston: Miami Defensive Tackle
2 of 5Forston has dealt with a lot of bad luck and injuries in his Miami career.
But he remains one of the most talented and athletically gifted defensive linemen in the whole draft. His upside is virtually unlimited.
So, teams drafting him will know there is bust potential here, but he could also be a home run for whichever franchise takes a chance.
Mike Brewster: Ohio State Center
3 of 5Like Molk, Brewster is a tough, gritty center who was one of Ohio State's main leaders.
He helped the team to a lot of success and was primarily responsible for one of football's better offensive lines under Jim Tressel.
The team that drafts him will get a franchise center for the next decade.
DaJohn Harris: USC Defensive Tackle
4 of 5DaJohn Harris is a very talented defensive tackle out of USC.
He was one of the most athletic prospects on the Southern California defensive line.
However, his draft stock will fall over health concerns as well as his choice not to work out at the combine, so teams will be able to draft him in the later rounds.
Russell Wilson: Wisconsin Quarterback
5 of 5Wilson is a very talented, underrated quarterback prospect.
Athletic enough to be a two-sport star for years, Wilson committed to football fully with Wisconsin last year and was very impressive. He has also improved his accuracy and threw stunningly good passes at his pro day.
Teams remain concerned about his height, but with his talent, passing ability and athleticism, Wilson will surprise people in the NFL.
