Happy Birthday, Blake Griffin: Sorry About Your Gift

Blake Griffin turns 23 today, and congrats to the old man for making it so far along. I'm sure he's enjoying some time off from the losing streak that led to a locked locker room. 

Since I'm in the gift-giving mood, I present 23 dunks to the birthday boy, courtesy of the 2008-2009 Knicks and Golden State Warriors. 

Back in 2008, the two awful defenses combined to cede 23 of the least exciting dunks in human history. There's the David Lee two-handed yawn. The Al Harrington, "I might as well since I'm under the hoop, wide open." And who can forget the Andris Biedrins, "Pump-fake-shuffler?"

So this is an ironic gift, like one of those Soviet flashlights you have to keep pumping. But since the video makes Griffin look so fantastic by comparison, it can also serve as a salve to recent negative press coverage. Here's to you, Blake!
