NFL Free Agent Rumors: Matt Flynn Remains Best Option for Seattle Seahawks
Matt Flynn is feeling the love right now. Both the Miami Dolphins and Seattle Seahawks are bringing him in for meetings. The free agent would do well to head to Seattle, which continues to be the best fit for player and team.
Adam Schefter was on SportsCenter Friday and assessed where Flynn and his free agent talents were at for the moment. Via Rotoworld.
"I think the Dolphins are the team to beat.

The news should strike at least a little fear in the hearts and minds of Seahawks' faithful. The Rotoworld report continues with the following:
"The Dolphins are expected to be the highest bidder, though Yahoo's Jason Cole reports the team is currently "low-balling" Flynn, believing he'll given in just to reunite with coach Joe Philbin.
"
Peyton Manning has reportedly told the Dolphins thanks, but no thanks. This leaves Miami as a contender to sign the most coveted free agent quarterback not named Manning.
Chad Henne has since signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, which leaves the "Emerald City" to consider life with Tarvaris Jackson or a battle between their quarterback and Matt Flynn. Every Seattle fan will opt for the quarterback battle in training camp.
Flynn would be the big arm with huge upside that the Seahawks have been craving. This is a franchise that is betting big that they can get to the Super Bowl now, and that will not happen with Jackson under center.
Of course, there are no guarantees that Flynn is indeed the second coming of Aaron Rodgers, but his brief flash of brilliance is encouraging.
There is far less scrutiny in Seattle. Miami fans are ready to pounce on quarterbacks at the first sign they are more Chad Henne than Dan Marino.
The more comfortable place for Flynn is Seattle, and the best player for its offense is Flynn. Matches made in heaven.
