UFC 93: Franklin vs. Henderson

Jason CottierJan 13, 2009

This time I am not going to waste my time trying to predict who is going to do what on the under card.  Any fighter that I do know on the under card I don't know anything about the man he is fighting.  So instead of searching Sherdog and trying to figure out a fighter's style then searching the Internet for videos including the fighter, I am going to keep it simple this time.

Marcus Davis vs. Chris Lytle

I have been reading a bit about this match and most everyone tends to believe that this is a stand up war in the making.  If that were the case I would definitely give the advantage to Marcus Davis.  Chris Lytle doesn't have anywhere near the power that his nick name "lights out" suggests.

Marcus Davis by KO/TKO.

Jeremy Horn vs. Rousimar Palhares

This is a gimme match for Palhares.  He is going to be built up by beating the "UFC Legend" Jeremy Horn.  I honestly cannot remember seeing Jeremy Horn win a match.  I have put so much faith in Jeremy Horn, and he has never pulled through for me.

Palhares by submission.

Alan Belcher vs. Denis Kang

Denis Kang by KO/TKO.

Mark Coleman vs. Mauricio Rua

Last fight between these two ended in a freak accident that then erupted between the two camps.  Rua may not the same fighter he was in Japan.  Coleman may be too old.

Coleman by TKO-G-N-P.

Rich Franklin vs. Dan Henderson

Rich Franklin is more well rounded than Henderson, but Henderson stands a better chance in my mind of being able to finish the fight on the feet, or the ground.  This is a tough one to call, and I have seen it recently...I am going to just flip a coin

Heads

Franklin by decision.
