NFL Free-Agent Rumors: News on Brandon Lloyd, LaRon Landry and Jeff Saturday
Teams are starting to fill their rosters with "need" players now that most big-ticket free agents have signed. Peyton Manning is still a free agent and so is Matt Flynn, but Mario Williams is now a Bill and Peyton Hills a Chief.
NFL free agency is the epitome of fun for most NFL fans. Speculation and hope is the thriving industry for fans this time of year. There is hope that one player will take your team to the next level or that he provides the spark to something great.
It truly is a grand time in the NFL, and getting the privilege to cover it is even better.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So as people continue to fixate on Manning and Flynn, I believe there are a few more players out there who deserve our attention.
Former Indy center Jeff Saturday is being courted by the Tennessee Titans, according to a report on NFL.com. He may end up being reunited with former teammate Peyton Manning.
The next most intriguing free agent is Brandon Lloyd. He’s receiving interest from the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers. If he decides to go with the Niners, his career will have come full circle. He was drafted by the team in 2003 and only recently started to live up to this potential. He had a career-high 1,448 yards in 2010 and has yet to even touch that stat.
I would like to see him in New England because it seems his opportunity to shine would be much better as a Patriot. Plus, I have no desire to place an inch of hope in Alex Smith as their quarterback.
Former Washington Redskins safety LaRon Landry has three teams sniffing around his dog house. The Philadelphia Eagles, Pats and New York Jets all want him to wrap his 15-inch pythons around their team’s secondary issues.
Landry is going to provide the big hit and the knockout punch, but he won’t cover well and his body may suffer from being so large.
