March Madness 2012 TV Schedule: Tournament Clashes That Will Make Friday Epic

Gabe ZaldivarJun 7, 2018

Wipe the bad taste of Thursday away form your mouth and bite into a fresh piece of Friday. A new day means a full schedule of hard-hitting games that will save our March Madness.

Thursday fell flat for a lot of fans as the usual parade of upsets and buzzer beaters gave way to one grand display of Syracuse instability.

The Orange almost lost, and in the end that was enough to keep us all intrigued until the night games gave us a handful of comfortable wins.

This, my friends, is not what I signed up for.

Give me those games that have me thinking screaming is the only way to correctly describe the final moments of a game.

For you inquiring minds, we have collected the most insane games of our immediate future. Here are the best of Friday.

No. 11 Texas vs. No. 6 Cincinnati - 12:15 p.m. ET CBS

Um, yes please.

Cincinnati comes in as the most intriguing team in this region. Texas will have to deal with a fast-paced Bearcats team that has one of the hottest big men in the game. Yancy Gates may be household name by the time this tournament is done. I'll take Cincy with a late bucket.

No. 11 N.C. State vs. No. 6 San Diego St. - 12:40 p.m. ET TruTV

You better hope that you eventually find just where they keep that TruTV channel, because one of the best games of the day will feature on it early.

NC State is riding high after playing tremendous ball against North Carolina and Virginia to close the season.

San Diego State will be hungry after being disposed of easily by New Mexico in the MWC final. I am confident the Aztecs have a much better showing on Friday.

No. 13 Ohio vs. No. 4 Michigan - 7:20 p.m. TNT

Before we celebrate a fine opening couple of days, Michigan and Ohio do battle. No, not that Ohio.

The Bobcats may not share the storied rivalry as OSU and Michigan do, but they certainly have beef as an overlooked opponent.

Guard D.J. Cooper was around back when this team shocked the Hoyas in 2010 and knows what an upset will take. I still have the Wolverines winning this one, but by the slimmest of margins.
