Super Bowl XLIII: The Ultimate Tiebreaker

The Pittsburgh Steelers have to get to the Super Bowl and win this season. I'm tired of waiting.

Three teams lay claim to the greatest football franchises ever:

The Dallas Cowboys, who have appeared in eight Super Bowls, winning five of them.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, with four wins by Terry Bradshaw, and one by Big Ben.

Of course, we cannot forget five Super Bowl wins, out of five tries, four with Joe Cool, Joe Montana, and one by the hall of fame understudy, Steve Young.

Now is the year to finally claim the best franchise in football of all time. The Pittsburgh Steelers have a shot to get No. 6.

It will be a while for Dallas, it looks like, who cannot get off the pages of the Enquirer, most of the time.

It will be a while for the 49ers, who seem to always be rebuilding after the retirement of two hall of famers, Joe Montana and Steve Young.

The Steelers' time is now! The defense looks to be good for a few seasons, Big Ben is strong and durable, and you can always find good offensive players to mold in the ways of solid, blue-collar, smash-mouth football.

Win this Super Bowl and it's No. 6 and the title of most Super Bowl wins ever.

With that comes glory, fame, and the motivation to win a couple more for a fine coach, Mike Tomlin, who is the coolest coach out there, we all have to admit.

Get No. 6, and the sky's the limit.
