NFL Rumors: Lifetime Contract for Peyton Manning Will Put Titans on Top of List
It might still be a few weeks before Peyton Manning makes his decision, but the Tennessee Titans are now the front-runner due to their offer of a "lifetime contract."
Unfazed by Manning's injury concerns after missing the entire 2011 season, Titans owner Bud Adams told KHOU 11's Matt Musil that he has offered the free agent a contract "for life."
The future Hall of Fame quarterback is understood to have narrowed his list of potential suitors to the Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins and the Titans. Each team provides different advantages and disadvantages, but Manning will not rush his decision.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
What separates Manning from others as a free agent is exactly what separates him as a player. The veteran is willing to do research, look at game film and study a roster to see what team would be the best fit.
On the field, Tennessee could be a solid fit for the quarterback. The team features young talent on offense, with Chris Johnson and Kenny Britt, as well as an offensive line that was second in the NFL in fewest sacks allowed last season.
Off the field, Manning can return to the state where he was a college hero. Plus, the possibility of a lifetime contract would give the quarterback the security that he is looking for while attempting to return from an injury.
The Titans are fully aware of the impact that Manning can provide in the win column and ticket sales, so this could end up being a perfect agreement for both parties.
For a player that calculates every move, perfection is the only option.
