With that, here's a quick analysis of the deal, some Twitter reactions and a grade.
Deal Analysis
This is a great move by the Buffalo Bills and they are a great fit for Mario Williams.
From 2006 though 2011, Williams was part of the Houston Texans, and now he's getting a six-year deal worth $96 million from the Bills.
Although he remains in the AFC, security in a long-term deal is perhaps the most appealing factor for a player. Include almost 50 percent of the contract guaranteed and the deal is unreal. Still, Buffalo needs Williams, and now Super Mario must produce.

Yes, the Buffalo Bills paid an enormous sum of cash for Super Mario. But then again, there are lots of pro athletes who get paid pretty hefty deals, and he certainly won't be the last.
Considering the Bills ranked No. 19 against the pass, No. 28 against the run and allowed an average of 371 total yards per game (ranked No. 26), Williams is an excellent pickup for the team. Not to mention the Bills only recorded 29 sacks with no legit outside pass-rush presence.
With defensive tackle and nose tackle Marcell Dareus working in the interior, he and Williams will be great complements to one another. We also can't forget about Buffalo's No. 10 overall draft selection.
For the Bills' sake, let's hope the offense can get going, and perhaps they'll add more talent to the defense in the draft.
Either way, now that Super Mario is in Buffalo, the rest of the AFC East better beware.
Grade: A+
