Peyton Manning Rumors: Do Lengthy Talks with Titans Mean QB Is Tennessee Bound?
In the latest chapter of “As the Peyton Manning Plane Turns,” it looks as if the Tennessee Titans are now the leaders in the clubhouse to land the four-time MVP.
It was a long day for both parties, according to WZTV in Nashville:
"After meeting with Titan officials for more than 6 hours, Peyton Manning is leaving Baptist Sports Park.

But, apparently they aren’t finished talking just yet. Jonathan Huton of 104.5 The Zone in Nashville is reporting talks will resume tomorrow:
"Hearing Manning returning to NC tonight, will resume talks tmrw morning.#titans will not issue statement tonight.

So, how are we supposed to use this information?
A second day of talks is a huge step. The NFL Network showed the Titans' team doctor heading into the facility. That means the discussions must be more advanced than the others, as nobody else has reached that level.
Over the weekend, Manning spent time in Denver with the Broncos organization. He was there from Friday night all the way until Sunday morning. The rumors were swirling, and it seemed as if Tim Tebow was a dead duck. Mike Klis of The Denver Post made it sound like John Elway was just one of the many reasons why he liked the Broncos:
"Manning was impressed with the Broncos. He liked front-office boss and star quarterback colleague John Elway. He liked coach John Fox. He talked 20-30 minutes with owner Pat Bowlen, who reiterated his position that division titles don't cut it with him. He wants Super Bowls.
"
On Sunday, Manning and his jet traveled to Arizona, where he met with Ken Wisenhunt and the Cardinals' staff for seven hours (via Businessweek).
He owns property in Miami. The Dolphins owner is willing to toss him a blank check.
So, who does he prefer?
The Broncos can provide him with a VP of operations with Hall of Fame QB on his resume and a team that plays in the weak AFC West a year after winning a playoff game.
The Cardinals can offer him Larry Fitzgerald and warm weather.
The Dolphins can offer warm weather and a blank check.
But, the Titans can offer him so much more.
Manning made a name for himself at the University of Tennessee and surely has some of his greatest memories during that span of time. He met his wife (a Memphis native) there.
The Titans play in the AFC South, where the schedule would be incredibly similar to the one he had been accustomed to with the Colts. The weather never gets too cold, and he has Chris Johnson and Kenny Britt on his side.
It makes the most sense when evaluating the important factors Manning is weighing, and a six-hour visit involving the team doctor with an agreement to meet tomorrow is all the proof.
As a Titan, Manning's career would come full circle, and it’s only a matter of time until he signs the dotted line.
