Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Davis was an epic failure at offensive tackle early in his career, but he is a great fit as an offensive guard, and at 6'6" and 355 pounds, he's a mauling run-blocker that will be an upgrade over Chilo Rachal and Adam Snyder.
Per Matt Maiocco of Comcast SportsNet Bay Area:
"Guard Leonard Davis is visiting the 49ers, per league source. It could happen today. bit.ly/wQX4U5

If the 49ers sign Davis, I'll be a happy man. There is still an opportunity to possibly land Cordy Glenn if he slips in the 2012 NFL draft. I can't forget to mention Daniel Kilgore, who is someone to watch for the future.
Mario Manningham, Wide Receiver
49ers fans remember Manningham from the NFC Championship game.
I'm sure they'd much rather see him in crimson and gold.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter:
"Three teams having early conversations with Giants free-agent WR Mario Manningham: SF, MIA, BUF.

A trio consisting of Randy Moss, Michael Crabtree and Manningham would make things a heck of a lot easier for Alex Smith in the 49ers passing game.
Oh, and don't forget about a guy named Vernon...
Laurent Robinson, Wide Receiver
Everything I just said about Manningham pretty much also applies to Robinson.
Both are talented receivers who should be able to be bought for approximately $4 to $5 million per year, something that still gives the 49ers some room to maneuver for upgrades at other positions.
Per Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee:
"#49ers showing interest in Laurent Robinson; Ted Ginn visiting with Jim Schwartz and the Lions ... blogs.sacbee.com/49ers/archives…
— Matt Barrows (@mattbarrows) March 14, 2012"
Laurent Robinson had a stellar year in 2011 for the Dallas Cowboys, catching 54 passes for 858 yards and 11 touchdowns. He'd be a welcome addition to an increasingly talented 49ers wide receiving corps.
Any of these players would increase the overall talent level of the team. Trent Baalke continues to show that he's a shrewd negotiator with an eye for players that fit into his vision for the 49ers.
Stay tuned for breaking news and analysis, as this free-agency signing period is just getting started.
