2012 NFL Free Agents: Latest on Mario Williams Tabs Bills as Team to Beat
Mario Williams is basically the Buffalo Bills' to lose. It is not a done deal, but the pass-rusher is still in Buffalo with the Bills and currently making moves.
Earlier this morning, it was reported that the former No. 1 overall pick in the 2006 draft would be heading out for other visits after his trip to Buffalo.
Williams was recently spotted in the airport, but it wasn't to catch a flight to Seattle, Jacksonville, Chicago or any of the other rumored teams interested in his services.

Instead, the highly sought-after free agent was picking up his fiancee, according to WGRZ 2 NBC.
Although purely speculative, it makes no sense for her to come up before Williams says no. The likely scenario, as Adam Schefter of ESPN reported on SportsCenter, is that she's visiting the area to see if the city is a right fit for the soon-to-be newlyweds.
In football terms, the Bills are looking to pair up Mario Williams with Kyle Williams and Marcel Dareus on the defensive front in their soon-to-be 4-3 defense.
Buffalo also already missed on their other top free-agent target of this offseason, wide receiver Robert Meachem, so they're even more inclined than ever to break the bank for Williams.
Fans are restless and the Bills, who have a good chunk of change to spend this offseason, need to get better or run the risk of losing any momentum they've built up in the last two years.
Before the the meltdown that saw them lose eight of their last 10 games, fans were legitimately excited.
Mario Williams cannot promise them a playoff berth, but he certainly gives them a better chance.
If Williams does get away without a deal, the Bills can just about kiss their chances of landing a major difference-maker goodbye.
