Ferrari will lock up the World Driving Championship with Felipe Massa taking the title with Kimi Raikkonen battling for second with Fernando Alonso.

Lewis Hamilton will not contend for the WDC and will have to scuffle with Robert Kubica for fourth.

Ferrari will ride the KERS wave to another World Manufacturers Title.

McLaren will struggle in 2009 and have to compete with BMW-Sauber, Toyota and Red Bull Racing for third place in the Manufacturers Championship behind Ferrari and Renault.

Sebastien Bourdais will or will not drive for Scuderia Torro Rosso in 2009.

The new aerodynamic rule package for 2009 will improve passing but the bigger teams with bigger budgets will still dominate.

The Honda F1 team will be purchased by somebody who will be a complete surprise..

F1 will continue to be the most watched sport in the world (not counting special events like the Olympic, World Cup, Super Bowl…ECT) and yet people will still say that Bernie and Max are killing the sport.

Toyota will win an F1 race and be the most improved team for 2009.

Nelsinho Piquet will be the most improved driver.

Nick Heidfeld will win a race.

Heikki Kovalainen will languish as McLaren’s second fiddle and will leave McLaren after the 2009 season.

At the British Grand Prix an English fan, wearing a McLaren hat, will drink too much warm beer and trip over a lawn chair.

The next day internet message boards will be inundated with posts claiming this is due to the obvious Ferrari favoritism by the FIA.

Red Bull Racing will improve and garner a handful of Podiums.

Williams will slide back on the grid and will struggle financially.

The fear of the economic downturn’s effect of F1 will subside as the season plays out and it will end the season with a new optimism.
