St. Louis Rams Free Agency: Cortland Finnegan of Titans Has Deal with Rams
According to the following tweet from Alex Marvel of foxsports.com, the St. Louis Rams and free agent cornerback Cortland Finnegan of the Tennessee Titans have agreed to a deal:

#Rams and CB Cortland Finnegan have a deal in place, source tells@FOXSports.com. Story coming ASAP.
"
Finnegan, 28, excelled under head coach Jeff Fisher and secondary coach Chuck Cecil in Tennessee (both of whom are in the same roles in St. Louis), making his only Pro Bowl following the 2008 season under the tutelage of both.

The Rams released cornerback Ron Bartell clearing $6.2 million in cap space which will ultimately be utilized to pay Finnegan to take over a starting role that Bartell once held in the Gateway City.

The imminent Finnegan signing signals the first deal of the day for the Rams and a great start to the 2012 Free Agency period for St. Louis.
