Jacksonville Jaguars Tim Tebow's Only Serious Option

The Jacksonville Jaguars may end up being Tim Tebow's only serious option if Peyton Manning ends up choosing to play for the Denver Broncos.

Tebow is reportedly going to find himself on the trade block looking for a new home, according to PFT's Mike Florio, if Manning signs on Denver's dotted line, but there isn't a team in the NFL that would consider making a trade for him besides the Jaguars.

I can't honestly say that there is a real market for Tebow...except in Jacksonville.

He's not even a real quarterback.

Tebow is an icon who wins football games in the most unpredictable ways. 

If I were Shahid Khan and I had the ability to choose between Tim Tebow or Blaine Gabbert to sell tickets for me, this is a no-brainer.

You make the trade.

Khan has grand plans for the Jaguars, and he says he intends to stay in Jacksonville. He will need to find a market if he hopes to succeed long-term, though, and the team has struggled to fill the stadium at times in the past. 

Tebow is a legend in Florida, where he helped lead the Gators to two National Championships. The moment this trade was made official, I guarantee the team would sell out the new Tebow jerseys.

Khan was asked by WOKV in February (h/t Orlando Sentinel) if he would have drafted Tebow if he had owned the team when he was coming out of college, to which he replied:

I'm guessing Gabbert will also be looking for a new home by the end of it all. 

If Peyton Manning ends up in Denver for the Broncos, Tebow ends up in Jacksonville starting for the Jaguars.
