Eve Torres Finally Getting Into a WWE Ring as a Wrestler!

It has been something discussed for a while now. Something we all knew would come someday, but never knew when it would actually happen.

2008 WWE Diva Search Winner Eve Torres has been in training to wrestle for some time now. She had been working in FCW and had been traveling with SmackDown mostly for backstage interviews.

The other day she did one with Michelle McCool. McCool kind of humiliated her and made her look bad, mentioning that she is just an interviewer and not a wrestler. She then apologized in the ring to her.

But then out of nowhere, she attacked Eve. I wondered when we would see Eve again. Then I heard she had her first match with Natalya this week.

And to my surprise, she actually won. And WWE officials thought she did well, and was very impressed with her improvement.

See, we used to see WWE using Divas as mainly a model position. If you were hot, you usually got the job. Of course they hired good wrestlers too, but usually they were not really that good.

Of course we saw exceptions like Lita, Trish Stratus, Chyna, and others. But then we saw girls like Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler who were okay wrestlers, but were not really that good.

They were more models than anything else. Hot, yes, but wrestlers? Not so much. Usually when we saw a Diva Search winner or contestant they were on WWE programming, wrestling pretty soon after the win.

But now the WWE wants to actually strengthen and bring some value to the Divas wrestling wise. Which I applaud. And Eve had to get training and actually show she could be a good wrestler.

As you saw Divas such as Ashley and even Torrie Wilson were let go after a while with the company. Both were not great wrestlers, and Ashley was a Diva Search winner as well.

She was in Playboy and that was great, but she did not show great wrestling ability and was released.

Torrie was popular so probably would have stayed if her back was better. The only was she could used was in the way the WWE was trying to go away from.

That was the Divas being mainly models instead of wrestlers, which I feel was the reason many will not get in as divas as they would have easily gotten in before.

I see Eve as probably the best out of the Diva Search Winners. She has the training, and the looks to go along with it. She has everything to do well in the WWE.

She will have what looks to be a feud or a match or two with Michelle McCool to get revenge I'm sure. I feel she will go over in it, mainly because McCool will be surprised that she could do so well.

And then she'll get mad and possibly attack Eve as she has done to a diva the past three weeks on SmackDown.
