Peyton Manning Power Rankings: Why the Denver Broncos Are Sliding Down

The Broncos have been dubbed the favorite team to land the biggest free agent this offseason, Peyton Manning.

However, as sleeper and dark horse teams arise, the Broncos are beginning to take a slide in the Peyton power rankings.

The Tennessee Titans have recently expressed tremendous interest in number eighteen, as owner Bud Adams said in a quote: (H/T NFL.com)

He is the man I want. Period. And the people that work for me understand that. They know who I want. I want Mr. Manning with the Titans and I will be disappointed if it doesn't happen.

"

The Titans are now a dark horse to sign Manning. The Broncos should be concerned, as Manning has reason to play for the Titans. He is basically a god in Tennessee, as he was a phenomenal quarterback in college while playing for the Volunteers. 

Bud Adams will likely bring Peyton Manning in for a visit. NFL Network's Jeff Darlington is now reporting that the Dolphins will also have their own meeting with the quarterback.

The Dolphins are just one step away from being legitimate playoff contenders. That one step is having an elite quarterback on their roster. Miami should definitely consider landing Matt Flynn, but Peyton Manning is clearly the best option on the market.

Manning will get to throw to monster wideout Brandon Marshall. 'Phins Running back Reggie Bush silently eclipsed the 1000 yard mark in 2012, also. 

The Cardinals had an extensive meeting with the future hall of famer not too long ago. Notably, Manning and Cards HC Ken Whisenhunt supposedly have a great relationship.

The Broncos have an optimistic attitude about their odds of landing of Manning, and according to Vic Lombardi, are "95 percent sure that they will land Manning," but that obviously has a bias behind it.
