Miami Dolphins

As Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald points out, there are a lot of steps and factors that are involved in the signing of Peyton Manning that may be out of the team's control, and the Dolphins have to be careful not to let old decisions impact new ones.

B/R's Alessandro Miglio has a look at the consolation prize in the Manning sweepstakes: Matt Flynn. He points out statistical similarities to Kevin Kolb, though there are probably better (more positive) examples to draw on.

New York Jets

If you can believe it, there are other quarterbacks available not named Peyton Manning. B/R contributor Sam Quinn points out five of them that the Jets could target in free agency.

New England Patriots

B/R featured columnist Josh Martin thinks that the Patriots should pursue free-agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, but only if he offers them a discount. Judging by the quotes in the article, I think he could be saying he will, without saying it.

ESPN's NFL Draft guru Mel Kiper held a conference call, with ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss on the scene. He gives us some great insight on the call from a Patriots perspective.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills have been pretty hit-or-miss in the NFL draft, and B/R draft lead blogger Sigmund Bloom has grades for the past five draft classes the Bills have put together. This is great perspective from someone who knows the draft really well.

Joey Pinzone of BuffaloWins.com has been playing GM for the past few days, and digs his mitts into the draft in his latest installment of "I'm the Bills GM."
