The UEFA European Championship this summer means there is yet another summer international tournament that will see both great young and veteran talents hoping to impress potential suitors for their next move.

With many major tournaments including the African Cup of Nations already having taken place, there are many clubs that will be hunting for the next best thing to come their way over the summer transfer period.

The London Olympics will potentially see the best U-23 talent from around the globe as the summer games kick off on July 27, 2012 with the final field of 16 nations set to be drawn into groups near the end of April.

However, the Euros are the top-talent draw this summer with the best and brightest talent from UEFA's 16 best nations competing head to head for national glory and potentially personal gain.

Edinson Cavani

It is not yet known if Napoli's Uruguayan star Edinson Cavani will make an Italian exit this summer.

Whether he does or does not, the potential buyers are lining up for a major bidding war.

Liverpool and Chelsea are among the potential suitors according to Bleacher Report's Mikhail Turner and Crunchsports.

Milos Krasic

Serbian winger Milos Krasic was thought to be a major target of the winter transfer window.

However, nothing really came to note other than the Juventus player refusing to take a transfer to Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg.

Chelsea have been linked as a possible summer transfer destination for Turin's out-of-favor star.

Lukas Podolski

News exploded late last week that Lukas Podolski was signed, sealed and awaiting his delivery to Arsenal.

However, according to the Telegraph today, those reports appear to have been premature.

Nonetheless, the talented German forward is certain to make his exodus this summer.

Young Belgian international Eden Hazard has already made it clear that he will be taking his leave from French club Lille OSC this summer.

However, the real question is just where he is destined to land.

German international starlet Mario Goetze is a top target of multiple clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal according to Metro and Examiner Sports.

However, Setanta Sports are claiming that the 19-year-old is going nowhere.

Another major Belgian international target is current Ajax Amsterdam captain Jan Vertonghen.

Yet another Napoli star that is thought to possibly be setting up for a massive move this summer is Slovakian attacking midfielder Marek Hamsik.

Goal.com has linked the player with a move to AC Milan, while a link to Paris St. Germain has been crushed by Soccerway.com.

Keisuke Honda

CSKA Moscow winger Keisuke Honda nearly missed a move to Italian side SS Lazio in the dying hours of the winter transfer window.

However, continued links to Liverpool have him looking at a possible move to England while the Japanese star is also set to have his contract salary doubled if he decides to remain in Russia.

Welsey Sneijder

Dutch international midfielder Wesley Sneijder has climbed to be holding out for a summer transfer to the English Premier League according to the Daily Mirror.

Manchester United could still be a primary suitor for the Netherlands playmaker but it remains to be seen which direction he will take if he goes to England.

Ezequiel Lavezzi

Goal.com claims that Napoli's Argentine attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi is open to making a move to England in the summer.

Contradictory reports have also appeared in ESPNsoccernet.com believing that the player could resist the urge to move and remain in Italy.

Although he has been shunned by the Scottish national team Wolverhampton Wanderers, striker Steven Fletcher looks like he could become a major transfer target over the summer if his current club are relegated.

The Montpellier star has been on a tear the last two seasons in France, and looks to have potentially earned himself a great career move if he can adjust to the expectations of a major club.

German and Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels could be a potential blockbuster of a deal this summer.

Although reports by Metro claim that Hummels has ruled out a move to Manchester United, Tribalfootball claims that Barcelona could be lining up to make a move for the player.

Clint Dempsey

United States national Clint Dempsey has broken record after record for Americans in the English Premier League.

While his current club Fulham are hopeful of a contract extension, NESN.com believes it is time for the Texan to find greener pastures.

The young Rennes' player will most certainly make his move this summer, but which club is highest in the charts to sign him is unknown at the moment.

Although he is believed to be staying put at Ajax, there is no telling what a great summer showing at the UEFA European Championship could mean for him.

Spanish midfielder Javi Martinez is emerging as a major target of multiple clubs across Europe.

Carlos Tevez

Argentine striker Carlos Tevez looks to have smoothed things over with Manchester City for the moment.

However, despite not being able to secure a move to AC Milan or another club away from Eastlands in January, this summer could prove to be a different story.

It is my personal belief that Robin Van Persie is not going to leave Arsenal this summer, especially considering their current push for the English Premier League's fourth and final UEFA Champions League place.

The Daily Mail claims that Manchester City are set to offer the Dutchman £210,000 per week if he makes the move to Manchester City, with BBC Sport also making the claim that Blues are right in line to try and snag the Gunner's services.
