Stop Complaining About New York Yankees Ticket Prices…
All you hearย about isย how expensive tickets are at the new Yankee Stadium. You guys have to stop complaining. Do you guys have to sit in the front row to watch a game? I would sit in the last row of the upper deck or the bleachers to see a game.
Honestly...Most of the true fans sit there. Iโm not trying to bash those who sit at field level, in suites, or in the front row. Haha. Itโs just that there isnโt a huge jump in ticket prices in the higher level seating. People donโt need to drop their whole paycheck to see a Yankee game. They can go sit in the bleachers for $12.

"โOf the non-premium seats, 88 percent will be less than $100,โ he said. โItโs easy to say that thatโs not cheap, but on the other 55 percent of the ballpark is going to be $45 or less. Thatโs over 24,000 seats. We recognize everybody canโt afford the suites. At the same time, weโre trying to allow those suite prices to subsidize the other seating in the stadium. Look, the bleachers are $12, will be $12. The grandstand is $20 and $25, will be $20 and $25.โ
"
He also said that 25,000 seats from the final year of the current ballpark wonโt be increased for this season. The Yankees are now charging anywhere from $500- $2,500 for seats surrounding home plate. That is a lot of money, but nobody is forcing you to sit there or even go to the game.
I didnโtย even go to see one game last year inย the stadiumโsย final year. I donโt recall ever sitting in the field level area at Yankee Stadium. Thatโs right. NEVER.ย I wish I could say that I have. Iโm always in the upper deck. I donโt complain.
The Yankees put a great product out on the field, and if the tickets are in demand and they can sell them...Why not? We are all aware that the economy is bad, but it shouldnโt stop you from going to a Yankee game. There are plenty of affordable seats.
