SEC Tournament 2012: Kentucky Won't Break a Sweat in Tournament Domination
The closest the SEC has come to beating Kentucky is a three-point loss (Tennessee) and two six-point losses (Alabama and Vanderbilt).
Don't expect an SEC team to get any closer than that this week. It will be smooth sailing for the nation's best team, the Kentucky Wildcats.
Remember, this is a team that would be undefeated this year were it not for Indiana (in Bloomington) hitting a buzzer-beating three earlier this season.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
This is a team that boasts two potential Top-Five picks in the NBA draft next year in Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
Davis, who was named SEC Player and Defensive Player of the Year, may also be named Player of the Year this season, while Kidd-Gilchrist could yet return to Kentucky.
Both were First Team All-SEC and SEC All-Defensive Team selections as well.
For what it's worth, Terrence Jones and Doron Lamb were Second Team All-SEC selections, and Darius Miller was named SEC Sixth-Man of the Year.
That's a potent lineup.
This is a team that led the nation in blocked shots per game (9.0), was tied for ninth in rebounding margin (plus-7.4 per game), was first in field-goal percentage defense (opponents shot a measly 36.5 percent against them) and allowed the 10th fewest points per game (58.5).
What's more, after they block your shot or deflect your pass with their length, they run the floor and finish, because the entire team is incredibly athletic.
This is a team that has wins over Kansas, North Carolina and Louisville on their non-conference resume.
Quite simply, this team has no peer in the SEC. The only other ranked team in the conference—No. 19 Florida—has lost by a combined 35 points the two times these teams met.
So, yes, I feel quite confident proclaiming that Kentucky will absolutely dominate this tournament.
Be afraid, SEC. Be very afraid.
