Cadillac Championship 2012: Golfers Primed to Have Entertaining Performances

Andrew KulhaJun 5, 2018

If you need a reason to tune into the 2012 Cadillac Championship look no further than Tiger Woods.

That's right, the G.O.A.T. will be back, and he's trying to prove that he's better than ever. The problem is, it's been ages since he last won a major, his public image is tattered and he can't putt anymore.

How's that for drama? I'm tuning in just to see if he sputters out again.

Of course, there's always the chance that he regains his old forms and puts up one of the best performances of all time.

Are you enticed yet?

Well, just in case you aren't, here's a few more golfers that are sure to put up some entertaining performances.

Rory McIlroy

If you don't remember McIlroy I urge you to think back to that one little event known as the U.S. Open. He only shot a historic 16-under par in what was easily one of the best golfing performances of all time.

The "Boy Wonder" hasn't really been able to live up to the hype that he created after that win, but it looks as if he's back on track.

McIlroy snagged the No. 1 spot in the world last week by beating Woods in the Honda Classic, and I can only imagine that he's hoping for the same result in this championship.

We just may be able to catch some very intense golf.

Luke Donald

The current world No.2 is sure to put up a good showing at the Cadillac Championship.

Donald is a great golfer and a great personality. He has a very solid overall game, and he's got some great experience in major tournaments.

He's going to be a huge factor in this tournament. Don't be surprised when he's on top or near the top of the leader board on the last day.

Donald is worth watching.
